The majority of my works are commissioned pieces and I truly find so much pleasure in co-creating a piece that's crafted for a specific space.    Whether you are interested in a completely custom weaving or a re-creation of a previous piece, I will work with you from initial sketch to finished weaving to ensure you are delighted with your new piece of art. All of my yarns are hand dyed by me, so I'm able to color match and develop a palette that is truly unique and tailored to your home.
Commissioned weavings are booked 2-3 months in advance.  A 50% deposit allows me to begin the sketching and development process and secures your place in my schedule.   Custom pieces start at $1500 and larger pieces are priced between $250 -$300 per square foot depending on the intricacy of the design. HOW DOES THE COMMISSION PROCESS WORK? 

STEP 1 : 
GET IN TOUCH AND SHARE YOUR VISION
Take a look through my previously commissioned pieces on my website or on Instagram. Identify the elements and colors of my work that particularly speak to you and provide me with approximate measurements and a photo of your space if you have one, I'll send back what that size piece would look like in your space along with an approximate price. 
  
STEP 2:
DESIGN PROCESS
We can hop on a phone call to discuss your vision in a little more detail.   A 50% deposit secures your commission and allows me to begin the sketching and color development process. 
STEP 3:
COLOR AND DESIGN APPROVAL
I'll share 2-3 sketches and color palettes based on our conversation and we can work together to ensure that the finished piece will exceed your expectations.  Once a design has been approved I will begin the dyeing process.  Once all of the yarns have been dyed, I'll send images and video over for color approval 
STEP 4:
FINAL APPROVAL
Once the piece is complete, I'll send you over photos of the finished weaving for final approval.  Final payment is due at this stage.  If you're interested in learning more about the process or commissioning a piece, please get in touch with me!
